Is the price per person or per group?

Prices quoted for full day and half day tours are per group,  so price includes up to 6 people.

What is your cancellation policy?

For Full Day and Half Day Tours, full refunds are available on deposits up to 24 hours in advance of your tour. Tours cannot be cancelled within 24 hours of the tour. Full payment is expected within 24 hours of the agreed tour start time.

For Private Car Tours full refunds are available on deposits up to 72 hours in advance of your tour. Tours cannot be cancelled within 72 hours of the tour. Full payment is expected within 72 hours of the agreed tour start time.

How long is the tour?

Full Day Tours are 7 hours, Half Day Tours are 4 hours, Family tours are 120 minutes.

Are entrance fees included?

Entrance fees are not included in standard day tours, as each tour is unique we can not anticipate where exactly your tour will go. If you would like your guide to manage the entrance fees, this can be arranged at the start of the tour on confirmation of itinerary. (Entrance fees are generally between 200 - 500 yen)

Where do we meet?

We will arrange to collect you at your Hotel or preferred location.

Can I add an activity to my tour?

Of course you can, we encourage activities and your guide will make suggestions prior to starting the tour. All our tours are adaptable.

What if it rains?

If you don't mind a little rain, neither do we! Umbrellas and rain coats are available at most convenient stores.

What if it really rains?

In cases of torrential rain, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled depending on the participants availability.

What should I bring?

As modern as Japan may seem, it is still a cash based society, many restaurants and shops do not take credit or debit cards. Please bring enough cash for your daily expenses.

I'm coming with my children. Will they be okay?

We find that children have a great time on our tours! All the guides have children themselves, so they know how to take care and entertain them.

We are senior citizens. Can we keep up?

The tour will be set at your pace, if you prefer a private car or taxi to assist you we can provide this, just let us know in advance.

Is your tour wheelchair friendly?

Yes, the majority of the tours are easily accessible by wheelchair.

A senior guest in our group may need access to a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs can be arranged in advance of the tour, please let us know.

Can you collect me from my hotel?

Yes we can. Please tell us your hotel name, and we will meet you there.

Is lunch and transport included?

Not in our regular walking tour packages, although we can organize that the cost of lunch and transport is added for you in advance to make it easier. Also, when the guide is invited to join the guest for lunch/tea/etc., please cover the cost for the guide.
